I remember the first time I picked up Pride and Prejudice. It drew me out of my mundane, rather boring life and lifted me into a world of lords and ladies, wit and sarcasm, and heroines that were rarely perfect. I dug that.
I related to Jane Austen’s prose more and more throughout the years and strove to become a writer that would also take women and men out of their own lives, to think about the world a bit differently, with each article or book.
So, in that quest, I’ve decided to take a piece of the interwebs and sprinkle it with (hopefully) witty prose, and observations on life and style from my very un-British corner for the Midwest. If anything, it’s an outlet to dream of high tea, lace with sprinkles of social observation.
Won’t you grab a mug of tea and sit a spell with me?
